16/20V 4age – TODA oil pump upgrade gears

A direct replacement and upgrade in strength for the original oil pump gears. For when things get really serious this gear set is a must. As a rough guide this is for engines that reach 9000 revs and beyond. At this point the original sintered metal gears are prone to snap and the TODA replacement made from Cro-Mo steel keeps on going.

For those wishing to use this gearset then it’s normally suggested to purchase it along with a new oil pump, however if an existing pump has had its condition checked and that it’s the correct type then this gearset can be directly fitted without any other modifications. Parts compatibility

This gearset is a direct replacement for the 4AGE oil pumps that use the 9.7mm width and Sinusoidal shaped gears. It WILL NOT fit into a pump that uses the trapezoid shaped teeth.

– 16V 4AGE / 4AGZE (SOME): Suits the later model 16V engines only. Bigport engines may be fitted with either model of oil pump so it needs to be opened to check for compatibility.

– 20V 4AGE (ALL): All 20V oil pumps are compatible.

– 7AFE (NONE): 7AFE oil pumps are NOT COMPATIBLE. 7AFE pumps do have the correct type of gears however they use narrower width gears which renders them incompatible.
