AE86 / AE71 / T40 / T50 gearbox – Reverse sensor switch

Located on the upper edge of the T50 series of gearbox this small switch is highly prone to being damaged. If your reverse lights aren’t working then change this part first.

Can be replaced without the removal of the gearbox.

Part compatibility

– Suits all models of T40 / T50 regardless if they were originally fitted up to a 4A, K or T series engine.

– WILL NOT SUIT K40 and K50 model gearboxes.

Additional information

– These use an M14 sized thread.

– The electrical connection is via two round posts on the back. Due to the angle of the photo it gives the false impression of there being only a single rear terminal.
