20V RWD Conversion Parts List
Many times we have been asked “do you guys sell a complete conversion kit to make a 20V into rear wheel drive?”. Due to the differing choices available pending on the customers vehicle type, budget, personal preferences and so on we can’t offer one comprehensive kit. So we instead offer many individual kits / parts to make the conversion possible and the complete listing of these is listed here.
Cooling system
Cooling conversion kit: Available with or without a heater option, just use the selectable check box where required.
Ignition: option 1 – for a programmable ECU

Filtration- Option 1: Slide on filters
100mm long slide on filters with internal spring
150mm long slide on filters with internal spring
Filtration- Option 2: Airbox
There are some limited options for aftermarket airboxes that are suitable for a rear wheel drive format, for example those from the Japanese company “Noby Booth”. Providing that the correct type of velocity stacks are fitted inside then this easily makes the most power and has the highest practicality out of all the RWD intake options. The disadvantage or advantage pending on the individual is that an airbox is very effective at dampening the intake noise. An airbox also has the significant advantage of looking less out of place and generally being easier to hide for those wary of the legalities of the cars intake system.
Filtration- Option 3: Singular filter
Adapter plates to suit a single combined filter or airbox lid to cover all of the velocity stacks. Apart from the GTIR adapter these will usually only suit left hand drive cars.
Raised Intake plate – Pipercross
As above but with an offset plate to hold the air filter further outwards.
